Mom and I attended the 2nd annual Jockeys and Jeans fundraiser for PDJF at Indiana Grand Racino on Saturday, May 30th. We had the privilege of dining with none other than Hall Of Fame jockey Laffit Pincay Jr. It was fascinating to talk to him. After dinner, there was an autograph signing by 23 Hall of Fame jockeys. Triple Crown winning jockeys Steven Cauthen (Affirmed) and Jean Cruguet ( Seattle Slew) were among the jockeys in attendance to promote a documentary called Heart, Hope, and Glory. Great time! I’ll plan to attend another fundraiser soon. See pictures below.
