I bet On The Point was never so glad to have her foal. She was 2 weeks past due! With the arctic cold spell, it was most assuredly Mother Nature’s protective way to shield her foal from the bitter cold temps. The Blueskiesnrainbows filly was born about 4:30 pm in the afternoon on Monday, February 11th at Dr. Roger Beam’s Midwest Equine & Veterinary Hospital. She is a big, strong, beautiful chestnut filly. Mom and baby are doing well.I visited them this last weekend. See photos below.
