Defining Purpose received quite the national support during the week leading up to Saturday’s race as one of the favorites. It was exciting to see her mentioned in the various articles leading up to race day. I was especially honored when I saw the video race promo that Oaklawn Park put out on social media. See link below.
While the race outcome wasn’t what we hoped for, Defining Purpose earned herself 6 points for her 3rd place finish , just shy of 2nd place by 1 ¼ lengths.
She now has 7 points on the leaderboard on the Road to the Kentucky Oaks and at the time of this post is #24.
Looking forward to seeing how her journey unfolds.
